Why Investing in Design is Crucial for Any Business
Good design became a commodity, a must-have, something that is taken for granted. What does this mean?
This means your company MUST have an attractive, unified appearance across all marketing channels, such as websites, social media, emails, brochures, flyers, etc.
This means you can’t beat your competitors without a professional appearance because big brands such as Apple and Google indulge your customers with magnificent designs. We are already spoiled by sleek, minimalistic, user-centered interfaces and mouth-watering visual clutter.
This means you can’t play the long game without investing strategically in good design.
The industrial revolution has been over for decades. Firms compete in the creative economy. Design is the main battlefield for a lot of brands that wrestle with marketing rather than product quality. Because product quality is, again, taken for granted.
The good news is that good enough (not excellent or game-changing) design is more affordable. We have page builders, templates, online education, and services where you can hire designers remotely.
Elements of design:
➡️ Logo
➡️ Unified color scheme
➡️ Fonts
➡️ Photo treatments
➡️ Repeating graphics
... and more
Design matters more than ever for brands that care and want to stand out. Ask yourself: Are you investing in design strategically? What will your brand look like in 5-10 years from now? Does your image reflect the history, inspiration, and mission of your brand?
